During the lecture 14, talks were delivered on two topics Transacting Skill Development Programme through Online Preparing for New Normals” & “Understanding & Navigating the F&B Business 2021- Thriving in the Post COVID-19, New Normal” by Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, University of Jammu, India, Prof S.K Jena, Dean School of Vocational Studies, Ambedkar University New Delhi & Dr. Mayukh Dewan, Module Leader, Food & Beverage Management & Beverage Management, School Of Hospitality, Tourism and Events (SHTE), Faculty of Social Sciences and Leisure Management (FSLM), Taylor's University, Malaysia held on 6th June 2020 (Saturday) at 1.00 pm (IST). There were 103 participants registered for this lecture, including top academicians, students, and research scholars of various countries like Jakarta, Philippines, Nepal, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Hungary, and India. This "International Web Lecture Series in Tourism and Hospitality" is an initiative taken by Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, University of Jammu along with Dr. Ramjit, Department of Tourism Studies, Central University of Kashmir, India and Mr. Nikhil Singh Charak, Assistant Professor, Ambedkar University, New Delhi, India.

Mr. Nikhil Singh Charak, welcomed and gave a brief introduction about the experts and coordinators of the International Web Lecture Series. Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas initiated the session's proceedings by welcoming the Co-speakers of the session Dr. Mayukh Dewan & Prof S.K. Jena.

The first speaker of the lecture was Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas. He started his address with essential facts given by UNWTO and also shared his views on the themes and highlighted the new vision for Global Tourism and impressed for one planet vision for responsible tourism. Prof. Parikshat discussed about strategies being advocated by UNWTO for global tourism so that it can grow better, stronger, and balance the needs of people, planet and prosperity

Prof S. K. Jena deliberated upon the various challenges and possible issues being faced while imparting of vocational programmes and he stressed upon the RPC model i.e., Recover, prepare, and coping strategies for developing the New Normals for delivering the professional education.

In his lecture, Dr. Mayukh highlighted the industry perspectives and provided realistic examples concerning the impact of COVID 19 on the Hotel Industry. Production of local premium food items, home cooking meals and new delivery Normals could be the possible solutions POST COVID-19 as proposed by him.

Questions & Answers followed the session by the experts Prof. Parikshat Singh Manhas, Prof S.K Jena and Dr. Mayukh Dewan, who responded and constructively answered the participants' various questions. At the end of the session, a vote of thanks was presented by Mr. Nikhil Singh Charak, Assistant Professor, Ambedkar University, New Delhi, India.
